Spring Shelfie Recipe
Spring is nearly here and those shelves that you were going to style last summer are still looking pretty bare. Styling shelves can be a particular pain, I don't even want to go into how many hours it takes for me to put these Shelfie Recipes together.
This spring shelf design is what you need to kick off the new season.
I styled these shelves for anyone looking for fresh, feminine and sophisticated decor. This styling will add color and warmth to any home.

Waverly Large Decorative Bowl
What can I say, I love a natural bowl. They add texture and warmth to your shelf, this one is the perfect fit for this look.
Kolya Vase x 3
When styling shelves I'm always looking for interesting vases. I like objects that layer texture and these were the perfect finds. The contrast in color combined with the addition of texture makes these real winners in my book.
Faux Potted Trailing Succulent
This is quickly becoming one of my go-to faux potted plants. Plants on shelves add life, even if they are fake. Unless you have the ideal light on your bookshelf chances are you aren't going to be able to have live succulent plants but this is a close second.
Crate & Barrel
Brushed Brass Picture Frames
For a more modern look stick to a thin metal frame. These ones from CrateandBarrel look really polished in any space.
Can we just take a second to admire this vase? Seriously it's so pretty! ok, clearly I have issues because I'm basically serenading a vase but you know, I like this stuff.

Wooden Vase Sculptures
I stumbled upon these vases and knew I had to use them somewhere. I'm really drawn to the light tone of the wood. I find these vases to be both feminine and sophisticated.
Calcite Geode Pair
These add a touch of fun and sparkle to the shelves. I chose these in particular for their color and size. Every shelf needs a little sparkle!
One Kings Lane
Nova Shagreen-Style Box, Teal
My love of boxes shows no signs of waning. They add a perfect pop of color and a place to hide things that aren't as pretty. Plus, doesn't it make you want to look inside.
Ridged Terracotta Pot
I normally like to keep my shelves to one punch of color but this light shade of pink screamed spring to me. I'm also really liking green and pink color combinations lately.
This is a gorgeous little pot. It ties in the teal and the pink while being a point of interest. I love adding detailed pieces to draw people in.
Crate & Barrel
Artificial Pencil Succulent
Another awesome faux succulent, this one is from Crate and Barrel. Just like the one above it adds life to your shelves without having to keep it alive.

FACETED CONCRETE BOOKENDS
I love that the shape is feminine but the material is masculine. This is a perfect example of something that didn't quite work on a different project but works perfectly here.
I hope you are enjoying these as much as I'm enjoying creating them. Do you have anything you want me to style for you? Leave me a comment and I will see what I can do.
