I love the look of dark bold couches. Especially this one from Article (which we've had for a year and love!, I should do a review). I've put together two different pillow combos together to show you how much fun you can have with this couch.
oh! oh! oh! I nearly forgot to tell you, that this is a part of the Accessory Recipe series.
First up is all about the pattern:
McGee & Co
Velvet in Emerald Pillow
Green is super on trend this year and this pillow pulls it off with no problems. I can't think of a richer looking pillow than emerald velvet, it even sounds rich. I popped this one in for added texture without adding more pattern.
Rarely have I found a designer that I love all of their stuff, but Susan Connor's line is amazing. I could fill my entire home with her pillows. This look was basically me trying to figure out how to put as many of her pillows on my couch at one time and I'm super happy with how it turned out.
I'm drooling over here. Susan has somehow managed to make this pattern seem so effortlessly cool. I don't just want it I NEED IT! This pillow is pretty much everything I'm looking for.
You've got to love a good lumbar pillow and this one does not disappoint. This is the perfect shade of blue. I'm struggling to put into words why I love this one so much but it's something to do with the mix of texture and how the pattern manages to look both modern and ancient. amazing.
Look 2 is Cool as a Cucumber:
Mcgee & Co
Perfect Stripe in Gray
Mcgee & Co weren't kidding when they called this pillow the perfect stripe. It has the perfect about of fade to make the stripe fit right in instead of overpowering.
First of two pillows I chose from Kaekoo. They are like sister pillows. Not identical but they work so well together. I love how sophisticated this pillow feels, but manages to stay fun.
Enid in Blush
Come on! This pillow is epic, it combines this buttery leather and the softest of blush pinks. It works perfectly with its sister pillow above. Amazing design and such an effortlessly cool pillow.
Do you love the look of a dark couch? In the time that everything is white I love going bold and being different. (although I'm totally buying a white couch for my sunroom!)
