Review of The Best Cabinet Organizers

Last january we redid our kitchen and went all out on cabinet organizers. After months of use the vote is in, We freaking love them. I mean some are better than others but the ones that are good are pretty damn great.

My favs:

Cutlery drawer organizer. This organizer is the drawer itself, but you can also find them as inserts. The best feature of this is that it's actually two layers. We have so much extra space now we haven't even filled it all the way up!

Next up is a crowd favourite around here. Our Pot pullout is pretty neat if you ask me. It easily holds all of our pots and lids. Pulls out smooth and shuts flush. I will note that we have one exceptionally large pan and i have to tilt the handle up a bit to make sure it fits.

You'll see that ours is built right into the cabinet and the door is attached to the organizer but this same unit works just as well in a cabinet with doors. To get a consistent look with the cabinetry on the other side of the oven, we had the cabinetry maker "pin" two drawer fronts together.

On either side of the oven we have two thin vertical pullouts. This ended up being a great spot for our cooking sheets on one side and utensil holders on the other side. Everything we need for cooking within our reach. There was a problem with these two, they wiggled a ton when first installed. We called our installers and they came in and put in a back wood piece. Worked perfectly, these roll smooth now.

we keep little bowls on this one for "misE on place", which is a fancy word for getting everything ready before you cook it.

This pullout is underused. this is more of a me problem than it not actually being useful. I just haven't thought about it enough. This organizer was solid from the get go, no adjustments necessary.

What should i put on here?

I love uncluttered counters and these work great keeping the wet washcloths off the counter.

Things that didn't work out great for us. Under the sink cabinet pullout. Great in theory but it's easier to just reach inside. Also we have a pullout drawer in the cabinet on top of the fridge, since I have to get on a stool to get in there anyway, there's no real point.

All of these are from rev-a-shelf. All in all we are very happy with them, but as i said earlier we did need our installer to come back and tweak them a bit.
